Ah one of my favourites but banned from eating them now with this diet business, having one today as a one off. I lost over a stone now so have to make sure its definetly a one off. Here we go.
Double bacon cheese burger for one ingredients:
- 250g minced beef chuck (approx. 20% fat content for flavor)
- 1tbsn wholegrain mustard
- 1/2 tsp English mustard
- 1 brioche bun
- 1 cos lettuce leaf
- 2 slices tomato
- few slices red onion
- few slices of pickle
- 2 slices Monterey jack
- 3 slices streaky bacon
- sauce of your choice (I use homemade barbeque, will share the recipe one day)
- salt and pepper.
First mix together your beef and both of the mustards, season gently with salt and pepper then form it into two even sized burgers.
Grill or pan fry the burgers and bacon until nicely browned, once browned put them on a tray in a stack, put the bacon between the burgers with a slice of Monterey jack and then top off with another slice, finish this with your sauce then sit in the oven for 5 minutes whilst you toast your brioche bun. With your bun toasted add all of the salad ingredients to the bottom then retrieve your burgers and add them. I served mine with crisp French fries and ketchup, fantastic.
Was pretty full after!
